The 11th Kentucky Volunteer Infantry Regiment was an infantry regiment that served in the Union Army during the American Civil War.

Service

The 11th Kentucky Infantry was organized at Camp Calhoun in Calhoun, Kentucky and mustered in for a three-year enlistment on December 9, 1861 under the command of Colonel Pierce Butler Hawkins.

The regiment lost a total of 264 men during service; 2 officers and 45 enlisted men killed or mortally wounded, 3 officers and 214 enlisted men died of disease.
