The 1st Infantry Division(Greek: I Μεραρχία Πεζικού I Merarchia Pezikou, I ΜΠ for short) is an elite division of the Hellenic Army. It was founded in 1897 and is currently headquartered in Veroia, Macedonia. Despite its title, it is not a conventional infantry division, but a formation comprising the various special forces of the Hellenic Army.

The emblem depicts a tsarouhi, the traditional footwear of the Evzones, and a bayonet.

The motto of the I Infantry Division is "(Like The) Wind" (Greek: Αέρα, Aera), the traditional battle cry of Greek infantrymen when attacking the enemy.
