The 29th Infantry Division Peloritana was an infantry division of the Italian Royal Army (Regio Esercito). The division fought in Ethiopia during the interwar period. The division was reorganized as the binary 29th Infantry Division Piemonte prior to World War II and fought in Greece.

Garrisoned in Messina, Sicily, the division was made up entirely of Sicilians.

The division fought on the "southern front" during the Second Italo-Abyssinian War.

Greece[edit | edit source]

The division fought during the Greco-Italian War, the Battle of Greece, and the Axis occupation of Greece during World War II.
