The 50th Regiment Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry was an infantry regiment that served in the Union Army during the American Civil War.

Service[edit | edit source]

The 50th Wisconsin was organized at Madison, Wisconsin and mustered into Federal service between March and April 1865. The regiment was mustered out between April 19 and June 12, 1866.

Casualties[edit | edit source]

The 50th Wisconsin suffered 1 enlisted man killed in action and 1 officer and 43 enlisted men who died of disease, for a total of 45 fatalities.[1]
