The 705th Naval Squadron (Reserve), is one of the Naval Reserve Squadrons of the Philippine Navy Reserve Command, which is organic to the Naval Reserve Center - Eastern Mindanao. It is a naval unit, and specializes in Urban Operations, disaster relief, and Civil Military Operations.

Its area of responsibility encompasses the waters covered by AFP Eastern Mindanao Command.

Mission[]

  • Base for expansion of the Regular Force in the event of war, invasion or rebellion within its AOP.[1]
  • Assist the Government in Relief and Rescue Operations in the event of Calamities or Disasters.[2]
  • Assist the Government in Socio-economic development and environmental concerns.[3]
  • Assist in the operation and maintenance of essential government and private utilies (e.g. power, telecommunications, water).[1]
