The Leclerc is the Main Battle Tank currently being used by the French Military. It is named after the Pilippe Leclerc de Hauteclocque who led the Free French Second Armoored Division in World War II. Weighing in at just over 54 tons, the Lecler is one of the lightest main battle tanks in service around the world. It is also one of the fastest with a top speed of 44mph.
