Maj. Ashish Kumar Dubey (born July 8, 1973) was a major in the Indian Army who was killed in an ambush in Dharhal, Rajouri district. He was in the Indian Army Infantry (20 RAJRIF) (43 Rashtriya Rifles)

Biography[]

Martyr Major Ashish Kumar Dubey was born on 8 July 1973 in the Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, India. He died battling the infiltrators in the J&K region of ThannaMandi, Nadiyadkalan, Rajouri on the 6 May 2003. Brought up in the city of Rewa while studying at the Sainik School Rewa, Major AK Dubey passed out from the school in the year 1992. Soon after, he was selected at the National Defence Academy in 1992 itself and got commissioned in the Indian Army in July 1996.
