The Burundi Army Aviation is the air force of the Military of Burundi. The Burundi Air Force had involvement Burundian genocides.

HistoryEdit

The Force Armée du Burundi was formed in 1966 with help from Belgium and Italy. The first aircraft type was a Douglas DC-3 and Aérospatiale SA 342 Gazelle. in 1974 Burundi brought two SIAI-Marchetti SF-260W Warrior's and SIAI-Marchetti SF-260TP Warrior's for COIN and training duties.[1] Burundi's Mil Mi-24 Hind was used in the 1993.[2]
