Carter Weldon Clarke Jr. (born 16 August 1926) is a retired brigadier general in the United States Army. His father, Carter Clarke was also an army brigadier general who served in World War I, World War II and the Korean war and was the founder and CEO of Gemesis. Carter was a 1948 graduate of West Point.
Biography[]
Carter Clarke, Jr. was born 16 August 1926 in Alaska to Carter Weldon Clarke (1896 - 1987)[1][2] and Jessie Fuller Clarke.[1][2]
Carter attended West Point and graduated in 1948 before going on to serve in the Korean War and Vietnam War.
He retired from the United States Army as a Brigadier general.

Silver Star citation[]
Carter W. Clarke, Jr., United States Army, is reported to have been awarded the Silver Star under the below-listed General Orders for conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity in action against the enemy while serving with the 25th Infantry Division in Korea.
