Dagvin R. M. Anderson is a United States Air Force major general who most recently served as the Commander of the Special Operations Command Africa, relinquishing command to Rear Admiral Milton Sands III on July 1, 2021. Previously, he was the Deputy Director of Operations of the United States Indo-Pacific Command.[1][2][3][4][5]
He will replace Jeff Taliaferro as the Vice Director for Operations of the Joint Staff.
