The Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organization ((Danish): Forsvarets Materieltjeneste, abbrev. FMT) is a joint service under the Danish Defence Command, tasked with purchase, service and support of equipment within the Danish Defence.
Tasks[edit | edit source]
The Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organization is the responsible organisation for purchase, service and support of all equipment (IT and buildings excluded) within the branches of the Danish Defence. This include but isn't limited to ground vehicles, ships, aircraft, helicopters, weaponry, sensorsystems; both local and abroad and embedded in deployed units.
Organisation[edit | edit source]
The Danish Defence IT Agency is divided into five departments, each containing a number of sections: The officer for equipment inspection's department, the equipment planning department, the supply, depot and distribution department, the support staff department and the maintenance and repair department.
