Earl W. Crusan (16 June 1925 in Bolivar, Pennsylvania - 28 January 2011 in Armagh, Pennsylvania) was an American Private First Class in the United States Army during World War II. He was awarded the Silver Star for his actions during World War II.
Biography[]
Earl was born on 16 June 1925 in Bolivar, Pennsylvania. His parents were Harmon and Nellie (Wynn) Crusan. Earl enlisted in the United States Army on 25 April 1944 from New Cumberland, Pennsylvania (ASN: 33936420). He served with Company E, 2nd Battalion, 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division during the rest of World War II eventually earning the Silver Star. After the war he married Norma M. Ressler and together they had three children. Norma passed away on 24 January 2007. Earl passed away on 28 January 2011 in Armagh, Pennsylvania.
