Fort De La Boulaye Site, also known as Mississippi Fort is the site of a fort built by the French in 1700, to take possession of the Mississippi. Native Americans forced the French to vacate the fort by 1707.[1]
It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1960.[1][2]
