Gilbert East Jolliffe

Gilbert East Jolliffe was MP for Petersfield in the last two parliaments^[1] before the 1832 Great Reform Act.^[2] Jolliffe was the eldest son of the Reverend William John Jolliffe and his wife Julia née Pytches.^[3] He served in the army until his election victory.^[4] His younger brother William was the 1st Baron Hylton.^[5]
