Ro-106 was a Japanese Ro-100-class submarine which saw service during World War II in the Imperial Japanese Navy. Laid down at the Kure Naval Arsenal on 17 December 1941, launched on 30 May 1942 and completed on 26 December 1942, She torpedoed and sunk USS LST-342 off the Solomon Islands on 18 July 1943. Ro-106 was sunk by USS England on 22 May 1944, north of the Admiralty Islands at 01°40′N 150°31′E / 1.667°N 150.517°E / 1.667; 150.517Coordinates: 01°40′N 150°31′E / 1.667°N 150.517°E / 1.667; 150.517.
