John Swain Zynsky (13 January 1923 in Boston, Massachusetts - 22 January 2006 in Lynnfield, Massachusetts) was an American Corporal in the United States Army during World War II.
Early life
John was born in Boston, Massachusetts on January 13, 1923 to Michael J. and Mary C. Zynsky. His parents were of Canadian and Polish descent. He also had a sister (Jane C.).[1]
Military service
John enlisted in the United States Army from Boston, Massachusetts on April 12, 1943 (ASN: 31310064).[2] He served in World War II with a Medical Detachment that was part of the 274th Infantry Regiment, 70th Infantry Division. He was eventually discharged.
Death
John passed away on January 22, 2006 in Lynnfield, Massachusetts. He was buried in the Forest Glen Cemetery in Reading, Massachusetts.[3]
