John was born in Boston, Massachusetts on January 13, 1923 to Michael J. and Mary C. Zynsky. His parents were of Canadian and Polish descent. He also had a sister (Jane C.).
Military service[edit | edit source]
John enlisted in the United States Army from Boston, Massachusetts on April 12, 1943 (ASN: 31310064). He served in World War II with a Medical Detachment that was part of the 274th Infantry Regiment, 70th Infantry Division. He was eventually discharged.
Death[edit | edit source]
John passed away on January 22, 2006 in Lynnfield, Massachusetts. He was buried in the Forest Glen Cemetery in Reading, Massachusetts.
