Sun Vista Civil Ensign of the Bahamas Bahamas The cruise ship suffered an engine room fire while in the Strait of Malacca. All 1,090 passengers and crew were rescued before the ship sank on 21 May.

Ever Decent Flag of Panama Panama The container ship collided with the cruise ship Norwegian Dream (Civil Ensign of the Bahamas Bahamas) in the English Channel 17 nautical miles (31 km) off Margate, Kent, United Kingdom and caught fire. She was beached and all 40 crew were rescued by helicopter.[3][4]

Rachel Harvey United Kingdom Jersey The fishing vessel struck rocks in stormy seas 200 yards (180 m) off Peninnis Head in the Isles of Scilly and was wrecked. All six crew members were rescued, but one was pronounced dead on arrival at a hospital.
