  • Azariah (Civil Ensign of the United Kingdom United Kingdom): World War II: The spritsail barge struck a mine and sank.[3]
  • HMS Caledonia (Naval Ensign of the United Kingdom Royal Navy): The training ship caught fire and sank at Rosyth, Fife. Scrapped in situ starting in October 1942.[55]
  • Solaas (Flag of Norway Norway): World War II: The cargo ship struck a mine and sank in the North Sea south of Kristiansand. The crew were rescued by England (Flag of Denmark Denmark.[55][77][78]
  • Takstaas (Flag of Norway Norway): World War II: The cargo ship was torpedoed and damaged in the Norwegian Sea 16 nautical miles (30 km) off Bergen (60°15′N 4°14′E / 60.25°N 4.233°E / 60.25; 4.233) by U-7 (War Ensign of Germany 1938-1945 Kriegsmarine). The crew were rescued by a Norwegian torpedo boat. Takstaas was taken in tow by Herkules (Flag of Norway Norway) but broke in two, with the bow section sinking. The stern section was towed to port and her cargo of lumber was salvaged before the wreck was scrapped.[3][55][79]
