Mohammad Forouzandeh (Persian: محمد فروزنده) is an Iranian politician and security figure and the head of the Bonyad-e Mostazafen va Janbazan (Foundation of the Oppressed and Disabled), the second-largest commercial enterprise in Iran (behind the state-owned National Iranian Oil Company[1]) and biggest holding company in the Middle East.[2] His tenure as head of the foundation was began on December 3, 2004 and was renewed for another five years on December 2, 2009.[3] Forouzandeh was also a member of the powerful Expediency Discernment Council for 2007 to 2012. He served as chief of staff of the Revolutionary Guard in the late 1980s and later as Defense Minister of Iran.[4]
