Vice-Admiral Sir Neil Dudley Anderson, KBE CB (5 April 1927 – 5 June 2010) was New Zealand Chief of Naval Staff from 1978 to 1980, and the Chief of Defence Staff from 1980 to 1983. He was married to the author Barbara Anderson. He died on 5 June 2010 aged 83.[1][2]

In the 1982 Queen's Birthday Honours Anderson was appointed a Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire.[3][4]
