No. 652 Squadron AAC is a squadron of the British Army's Army Air Corps (AAC).

HistoryEdit

During the Cold War the squadron was part of 1 Regiment and based at Gutersloh, Germany. 652 also deployed as part of Operation Telic in Iraq using Westland Gazelles and Westland Lynx's, 652 also deployed to Afghanistan as part of Operation Herrick using Lynx's.

Present dayEdit

The unit converted to the AgustaWestland Wildcat AH.1 and moved to RNAS Yeovilton (HMS Heron) becoming the Wildcat Fielding Squadron. The unit took part in Exercise Wildcat Zenith during March 2015.
