The Panamanian Public Forces Aviation is a branch of the Panamanian Public Forces.[citation needed] It is mostly a transportation force with many fixed and rotary-wing aircraft.

The only non-transport aircraft is the T-35. Most of the fleet is civil transport aircraft and the only war type is the UH-1.

History

Panamanian Public Forces aviation was formed in 1964[1][not in citation given] for transportation purposes. A single reported crash came in 1981. The Panamanian Air Force was the former name of the PPFA and had no involvement in the American invasion.[citation needed]
