Philipp Lichtenberg (9 September 1908 in Koblenz – 14 December 1993 in Kiel) was a German chief engineer on a U-boat in World War II and recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership.
