Mohajer-6 (UAV) (Persian: پهپاد مهاجر-6) is the newest member of the Mohajer unmanned aerial vehicle family which is in the category of tactical-combat drones and is able to be utilized in a variety of military/civilian missions. The UAV is owned by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran.[1][2][3][4]
The operational range of this "remote-controlled bird" is approximately 2,000 km, and has the capability of carrying 40 kg of weapons. The Mohajer-6 has a speed of 200 kilometers per hour and is able to carry 2 smart bombs and a vertical optical-thermal point-and-shoot under its wings.[5][6][7][8]
Mohajer-6 unmanned aerial vehicle[9][10][11][12] has been utilized in retaliatory action(s) by the ground forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps against the positions of Iran's enemies in the zones located in the west/northwest of the country.[13][14][15][16]
