Thomas Zvansky (1902 in Ohio - missing in action 7 December 1941 at Pearl Harbor) was a United States Navy Reserve Chief Petty Officer on the USS Oklahoma (BB-37) during World War II.

Early lifeEdit

Thomas was born in about 1902 in Ohio to Emil Zvansky.

Military ServiceEdit

He joined the Navy Reserve in 1920 from California (NSN: 2826240), retired in 1940 and was recalled the same year to serve as a Chief Signalman aboard the USS Oklahoma (BB-37).


He went missing in action on December 7, 1941 during the attack of Pearl Harbor. His name is mentioned on the Courts of the Missing on the Honolulu Memorial Wall and Cemetery in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Personal lifeEdit

He married Estelle J. Plummer on April 2, 1937 in Los Angeles, California.
