The USS Tickler was a one gun dispatch sloop used as a bomb ketch by the United States Navy. Purchased in August 1812, she weighed fifty tons, but further dimensions and its builder are not known. Tickler was captured by the British in the Battle of Lake Borgne and returned after the war. She was sold in New Orleans in 1818.^[1]
